Oklahoma has the largest remaining amount of the original Route 66 in the nation. It is broken up across country in bits and pieces, but people travel it like searching for a holy grail, perhaps looking for simpler times. When I took this picture, there were two bikers in the area following the route across country who were from Norway.

That was a fun day. Rain and all. I have enjoyed being able to view your web. I am glad you like mine

Someday Vic, we should hop on our bikes...with Oz in a sidecar perhaps...and travel 66. Maybe when I am 50 and you are 60? :D
